Race days at DMX are nothing short of exciting and thrilling with first class racing throughout all the classes.
To ensure that the day runs smoothly and to schedule, we have put some guidelines into place. MOTOCROSS REGISTRATIONRace registration for motocross is done on race day mornings from 7:00am until 8:30am. It is very important that all race registrations are complete by 8:30am to ensure that the race day schedule is followed. The first thing you will have to do when you arrive at the ra cetrack is to go to the Registration Cabin to pay your registration fee and get your scrutineering form All riders over the age of 18 MUST register and sign in themselves. A parent/guardian or another adult must register on behalf of all riders under the age of 18. If no parent or guardian is present then an adult with a notarized statement authorizing them to sign for the minor will be accepted. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this. When completing the race registration sheets be sure to write legibly as this information is entered into the transponder system. Sign in the right place on the forms and check that your rider number is correct. Ensure that you are handed a completed scrutineering form After you have signed up go back, unload bikes and set up. Look over the bike and get it ready for scrutineering MOTOCROSS RACE REGISTRATION FEES | MEMBERS | Dhs 150 | | NON MEMBERS | Dhs 250 |

MOTOCROSS RACE DAYS WALK THE TRACK When you have everything set up, go walk the track. This will help you relax as well as learn the track. Take time to look at different obstacles. Find a high spot and stand and look at the track like you are watching a rider go round while they are racing. This will help you learn the layout. Take your time.
RIDERS BRIEFINGAll riders have to attend Rider's Briefing. If there are any changes in the race order or any rule changes that have taken place will be announced at this time. If you are the first practice it is very important to be ready before rider's briefing because practice will start right after the briefing has ended. PRACTICE SESSIONS About 10 minutes before your practice start getting dressed. Check the gas in your bike and then warm it up. Remember to take some deep breaths and stretch to help you relax before going out on the track. Use the practice session to learn the track and warm up. Try different lines so you will know what to expect if you need to take them later. Pay attention to the track flags. Be sure and hold your line (don’t zigzag) so that faster riders can pass you. When you are flagged off the track, slow down as you exit. It is easy to go too fast because you are nervous and have a lot of adrenaline. Calm down and take some deep breaths again. Get off your bike push your bike back to your pit. When you get back to your pit look your bike over, refuel your bike and lube the chain. Relax and drink something. Remember FIRST GEAR ONLY IN THE PITS.
