junior1WELCOME TO THE DMX JUNIOR CLUB!

The DMX Junior Motocross caters for younger motocross enthusiasts between the ages of 4 – 11 years and their families.  Our aim is to provide a fun, controlled and safe social environment for families with children who love riding motorbikes.
The DMX Junior track was opened in 2005 and has fast become a favourite with riders of Bikes and Quads alike.
The Club has proven to be able to successfully provide an environment where junior riders compete in organised competition and develop long lasting friendships.

For "New" Parents of Junior Motorcross Riders

There will come a time when a child will tell a parent that they'd like to ride a motorbike or quad bike either on a motocross track in races or up and down the road outside the house.
Many thoughts go through a parents head at a moment like that, including worries about safety, junior2cost, and whether or not this is a suitable sport for ones so young.

At DMX, we understand all your concerns. In fact all of the parents of our Juniojunior 5r riders asked themselves the same questions and faced the same difficult decisions in whether or not to allow their children to take Motocross or bike riding up as a hobby.
Safety is our primary concern and paramount in all that we do. From mandatory riding safety gear to our carefully designed Junior race track and specialised junior training.

Junior riders are the future of our motorcycle sport. It is important that they learn to ride within their own capabilities and in a suitable safe environment. We don't push our junior riders to be winners. We encourage them to think, learn and refine their skills. We make sure to instill the philosophy that winning is not everything. Motocross, upfront and foremost has to be fun for our riders.

THE JUNIOR TRACK

The DMX junior track is sand based, with a selection of tabletop jumps, whoops and berms. The track has been designed so that it suitable for both beginners and “expert” Junior riders.
All areas of the track are in view and are manned, on race days, by trained safety marshals.
If you have a child interested in taking up Motocross racing or you yourself would like to get involved with the club in some way then please do get in touch with Nicky Berry on 050 5521796

Committee members and other parents will always be on hand to gladly assist you to learn the rules.

SAFETY

Motorcycling can be dangerous, and as such, the emphasis on safety and discipline at DMX is second to none. With riders as young as 3 competing we cannot afford to tolerate breaches of discipline. All riding and competition is conducted according to the rules set out by FIM and DMX
We constantly work to provide a safe environment for riders and spectators at all times. To achieve this the club rules must be obeyed at all times. At every race day, qualified medical professionals and ambulances are on site to ensure any medical emergency, no matter how small, is attended to immediately and professionally.
